It carries the CMC Markets name, but it's run by a separate company in Dubai, and CMC is neither the operator nor a guarantor. The Trustpilot 4.3 on the homepage is CMC Markets' own rating — CMC Funded itself has a single review. Payout frequency, minimums, and restricted countries aren't published. We're waiting until payout terms and a payment track record appear. Read the article (Japanese)
CMC Funded
CMC ファンデッド
A prop program launched on October 1, 2026 in conjunction with CMC Markets, the long-established CFD broker listed on the London Stock Exchange. There are two plans — Classic 2-Step (8% → 5% targets, 5% daily, 10% max) and Direct 1-Step (10% target, 4% daily, 6% max) — both one-time fees with no time limit and a static max loss, with news trading and weekend holding allowed. The platform is Match-Trader only. However, it's operated by True North Tech L.L.C-FZ in Dubai, and CMC Markets' regulation (FCA and others) does not extend to it. Checked on the official site (cmcmarketsfunded.com) on October 5, 2026 and re-checked on October 12, 2026 (prices and rules unchanged; crypto and Binance Pay added as payment methods).

Pros and cons
+Pros
- ✓Classic 2-Step is $499 for $100K with a 10% static max loss and 5% daily. That's $49.9 per $1,000 of loss room — on the cheap side for 2-step plans.
- ✓The max loss is set once from the starting balance and never moves (no trailing).
- ✓No time limit, news trading allowed, weekend holding allowed — no restricted windows around releases.
- ✓Choose leverage from 1:10 to 1:500 — the price is the same either way.
- ✓FX, indices, commodities, shares, and crypto, plus prediction-market (event) symbols.
- ✓The parent brand is CMC Markets, founded 1989 and FTSE 250-listed; the execution infrastructure comes from CMC Markets Singapore.
-Cons
- ✗⚠️ It isn't run by CMC Markets but by True North Tech L.L.C-FZ in Dubai. That company is your counterparty for fees, accounts, rewards, and refunds, and the site states CMC Markets Singapore is neither the operator nor a guarantor. CMC Markets' regulation (FCA and others) doesn't extend to this service.
- ✗⚠️ The "Trustpilot 4.3 / 3,489 reviews" on the homepage is CMC Markets' own rating (cmcmarkets.com). CMC Funded's own page (cmcmarketsfunded.com) had just one review as of October 5, 2026.
- ✗⚠️ Match-Trader only, no MT4/MT5, so you can't run MT-based EAs. The terms ban "EAs, bots or other automated trading used in a way the Program Rules don't allow," but the public rules page doesn't say which plans allow automation.
- ✗The daily loss limit is based on each day's starting equity, counts open positions, and fails you the moment you touch it (no grace period).
- ✗Direct 1-Step has a 10% target against a 6% max loss — target ÷ max loss of 1.67x is tight.
- ✗The terms treat "repeated martingale or grid escalation" and "extreme one-way concentration" as abusive.
- ✗Commission, a price markup on some symbols, and holding costs apply (amounts aren't on the public pages).
- ✗Payout frequency, minimums, and time to first payout aren't on the public pages (only "as set out in the Program Rules or the Client Area"; still absent from the terms v2.1 of October 1, the rules page, and the support centre when re-checked on October 12, 2026).
- ✗The fee isn't refunded when you pass (refunds are for unused purchases only). Payment is Mastercard, crypto, or Binance Pay (Visa "coming soon"; checked October 12, 2026).
- ✗The restricted-country list isn't published (still absent when re-checked on October 12, 2026), so whether you can buy from Japan is unconfirmed. No Japanese site or support.
- ✗Launched in October 2026, so there's no track record yet.

FAQ
Is it run by CMC Markets?
No. According to the official site and terms, the operator and your contracting counterparty is True North Tech L.L.C-FZ in Dubai, with CMC Markets Singapore as the "exclusive brokerage partner." The site states CMC Markets Singapore is neither the operator nor a guarantor, and CMC Markets' regulatory status doesn't extend to this service. All trading is simulated; no real brokerage account is opened.
Can I use an EA (automated trading)?
Not MT4/MT5 EAs — the only platform is Match-Trader. The terms list "EAs, bots or other automated trading used in a way the Program Rules don't allow" as prohibited, but the public rules page doesn't say which plans allow automation (checked October 5, 2026).
Is martingale allowed?
We wouldn't. The prohibited practices in the terms name "repeated martingale or grid escalation," "extreme one-way concentration," and "sudden position-size spikes used to game the evaluation" as examples of gambling-style trading.
Classic or Direct — which should I choose?
Classic 2-Step, by default. At $100K, Classic is $499 with a 10% max loss and 5% daily; Direct is $549 with a 6% max loss and 4% daily. Per $1,000 of loss room that's $49.9 for Classic vs $91.5 for Direct — Direct costs more and gives you less room. The only reason to pick Direct is to finish in one step.
Can I use it from Japan?
Unconfirmed. The terms say restricted jurisdictions are "determined by us and published or communicated from time to time," but there was still no country list on the public pages when re-checked on October 12, 2026. Payment is Mastercard, crypto, or Binance Pay (Visa coming soon). Check with support before you buy.
When can I request a payout?
Not published. The terms only say payout schedules, minimums, and caps are "set out in the Program Rules or the Client Area," and identity checks (liveness, address, tax documents, and so on) come before the first payout. The split is 80%, or 90% with the add-on (+20% of the fee). Still unpublished when re-checked on October 12, 2026.
