-Cons

  • ✗No mention of a challenge-fee refund program on the official site (as of September 27, 2026)

FAQ

Q

Can I change my strategy mid-challenge or after passing?

During the challenge stages (Phase 1, Phase 2) there's no consistency rule, so changing your approach mid-challenge is fine. Funded accounts, however, have had a "33.3% rule" since July 16, 2025: to take a payout, your largest single day's profit divided by total profit must be 33.33% or lower. Breaking it doesn't fail the account - your payout request is simply postponed until you keep trading and bring the ratio down.

Q

Which account size is the best value?

Since the evaluation rules are the same across every size, the lower the challenge fee is relative to the account size, the better the deal. As of September 27, 2026, Standard (¥20M, ¥99,999 = 0.500%) is the cheapest, followed by Professional (0.625%), Growth (0.670%), Lite (0.740%), Master (0.750%), and Entry (1.080%), in order of increasing cost. See our expected-value article for the full calculation.

Q

When can I take a payout, and how much?

The first payout comes 28 days after your first trade on a funded account; every payout after that is every 14 days. The cap is 10% of the starting balance on your 1st payout and 15% on your 2nd (both after the 80% split is applied). If you don't meet the 33.3% rule, or if the payout amount is under ¥10,000, the request is postponed and reset 14 days after the date the postponement was confirmed. Payouts go out via domestic bank transfer, typically 2-3 business days after review.

Q

Does my account get replaced when I take a payout?

No. Article 6 of the terms of service states that while your funded account may be paused for about 2-5 business days to process a payout, the account itself is never replaced or reissued.

Q

Is the challenge fee refunded?

As of September 27, 2026, the official site makes no mention of a program that refunds the challenge fee on passing or on payouts. It also explicitly states there's no refund if your account fails from 30 days of inactivity, a banned practice, the 1% rule, or similar.

Q

How many accounts can I hold at once?

Multiple accounts have been allowed since December 10, 2025, capped at ¥60M combined. That said, hedging between multiple accounts and "mirroring" - entering the same symbol in the same direction across accounts within a short window (e.g. within 5 minutes) - are both banned. If you're running the same method across multiple accounts, check the multi-account rules in the terms of service. Funded accounts under the same name and currency can also be merged into one.

Q

Is Fundora a Japanese company?

Yes - it's a Japan-based prop firm run by Quantum Fund Traders Co., Ltd., headquartered in Toranomon, Tokyo.

Q

What is the 1% rule?

The official definition is "a loss exceeding 1% of the demo account's equity, even temporarily." This covers not just closed losses but floating losses too, and the listed examples include repeatedly entering with a lot size that crosses 1%, holding multiple correlated positions at once, and trading without a stop-loss. A single violation doesn't fail the account immediately, but failing to improve after a warning can lead to failure. The safe approach is to keep your per-trade risk under 1%, with some room for costs.

Q

How are the daily and max loss calculated?

The 5% daily loss is 5% of your equity (including floating P&L) at 6 AM JST every day (7 AM during winter time). The 10% max loss is fixed at 10% of your starting balance. Both fail the account immediately the moment you exceed them, even on a floating loss.

Q

What is the 30-day rule?

If you don't activate your demo account within 30 days of receiving it, or if 30 days pass with no trades (no new orders), the account ends with no refund. Simply logging in doesn't count as trading.

Q

What is the 20-second rule?

Closing a trade within 20 seconds of opening it is banned. It's not an instant failure - reacting to a sudden move can trigger this - but frequent occurrences lead to a warning or failure.

Q

What are the trading commissions?

According to the official pricing table, it's $3 per lot, one-way, across every plan.

Q

What does swap-free gold mean?

Holding a XAUUSD position overnight doesn't incur any swap cost - an advantage for swing trading.
