Hola Prime

ホラプライム

A prop firm launched in August 2024. Its headline feature is "1-hour payouts": an independent review by Deloitte (October 2025-March 2026) reports that 98.35% of withdrawal requests were processed within 1 hour, with zero rejected. It offers four plans - 1-Step Prime / 2-Step Prime / 2-Step Pro / Direct (confirmed on the official pricing simulator on September 27, 2026; 2-Step Prime X has disappeared from the options) - with accounts from $2K to $200K, scaling up to $4M. The platforms available on the pricing simulator are MT5 and cTrader. The site supports a Japanese display (some parts untranslated). EAs can be used with a paid +10% add-on, but the mandatory stop-loss rule on Funded accounts and the "2% per trade idea" aggregation rule strongly constrain how you can design automated trading.

Pros and cons

+Pros

  • ✓One of the few firms to have withdrawal speed verified by an independent auditor (Deloitte: 98.35% within 1 hour, zero rejections, average 33 minutes)
  • ✓1-Step Prime, 2-Step Prime, and 2-Step Pro refund 100% of the fee once you pass. It's added automatically as 25% on top of each of your first 4 payouts (official FAQ, confirmed September 27, 2026)
  • ✓Max loss doesn't move when you withdraw (a fixed line based on the initial balance)
  • ✓You choose the profit split by withdrawal cycle (Bi-weekly 80% / Monthly 95% <+20% on price> / On-demand 80%)
  • ✓No risk rule or mandatory stop-loss during the evaluation phase - news trading, weekend holding, and overnight holding are all allowed
  • ✓Max DD is static (10% for Two-Step, 6% for One-Step). Not a trailing DD
  • ✓No time limit on trading. Minimum trading days are also light, at 2-5 days
  • ✓$2K accounts are $9 for Two-Step and $14 for One-Step - a price point cheap enough to buy for practice
  • ✓Standing coupon WELCOME20 gives 20% off (excludes $2K and $200K)
  • ✓The site supports Japanese display, and Japan is not on the restricted-country list
  • ✓Trustpilot 4.5 / 3,603 reviews (as of September 10, 2026; 83% are 5-star)

-Cons

  • ✗⚠️ Stop-loss is mandatory on Funded accounts. A trade without an SL is treated as having "infinite risk," and the account is terminated the moment the floating loss exceeds 2% of the initial balance
  • ✗⚠️ A 2% risk cap per trade idea. Re-entries on the same symbol and direction within 10 minutes, and split positions that overlap in time, are aggregated into a single idea
  • ✗⚠️ EAs and automated trading are completely banned on Direct (no-evaluation) accounts
  • ✗Using an EA requires the "EA Trading" add-on at purchase (+10% on the base price, confirmed on the official pricing simulator)
  • ✗The fee refund comes back in 4 installments, so if you fail before your 4th payout you only get part of it back. Direct is not listed as eligible for a refund
  • ✗If you trigger a prohibited practice, the risk cap can be reduced from 2% to 1%
  • ✗On 2-Step Pro Funded accounts, trading within 5 minutes of high-impact news and holding over the weekend are treated as "soft breaches." Profit from trades within 5 minutes of a news release is voided, and any position still open at 3:45 PM ET on Friday (4:45 / 5:45 JST Saturday, summer/winter) is closed automatically. The account itself is not failed (both are allowed during evaluation)
  • ✗Direct accounts have a 3% daily / 7% max EOD trailing DD, a 20% consistency rule, no news trading, and no weekend holding
  • ✗Choosing the 95% monthly split raises the base price by 20%. The default is 80% bi-weekly
  • ✗Every withdrawal requires an account review, and you can only apply for the payout after passing it (the application itself is processed within 1 hour)
  • ✗Using 70% or more of your margin counts as a prohibited "gambling-style" trade
  • ✗30 days of no trading fails the account
  • ✗Japanese is only for the site display and some parts remain untranslated. We haven't confirmed whether support responds in Japanese
  • ✗Launched August 2024, so it has about 2 years of track record. Trustpilot has 1-star reports like "account closed instantly over an SL mistake" and "asked to set an SL within 3 minutes"

Trading rules

!Prohibited

  • ✗[Direct accounts only] EAs and automated trading are completely banned (the official FAQ states it is "strictly prohibited")
  • ✗[Funded accounts] Trading without a stop-loss (a violation once realized or floating loss on an SL-less trade exceeds 2% of the initial balance; if an SL is in place, the size of the floating loss itself isn't judged)
  • ✗[Funded accounts] More than 2% risk per trade idea. Here, "risk" means the maximum loss determined by where the stop-loss sits at entry, and any overshoot from a price gap isn't counted (per the official rules). Re-entries on the same symbol/direction within 10 minutes and split positions overlapping in time are aggregated. Does not apply during the evaluation phase
  • ✗HFT and tick-scalping (using high-speed connections and high-frequency orders to capture tiny price movements)
  • ✗Hyperactivity (abnormally high-frequency order placement/execution)
  • ✗Arbitrage (exploiting price differences between platforms or system glitches)
  • ✗Gambling-style trading (excessive leverage, 70%+ margin usage, disorderly multiple orders scattered across price levels)
  • ✗One-sided betting (positions in only one direction with no analytical basis)
  • ✗Copy trading with accounts under someone else's name, or copying from other firms
  • ✗Hedging/two-way positions across multiple accounts (opposite trades on the same symbol in a different account)
  • ✗Sharing an account or device, or running multiple accounts from one email or one device
  • ✗[2-Step Pro Funded accounts] Trading within 5 minutes of high-impact news (soft breach; profit from trades during that window is voided)
  • ✗[2-Step Pro Funded accounts] Weekend holding (soft breach; auto-closed at 3:45 PM ET on Friday)
  • ✗[Direct] Weekend holding
  • ✗30 days with no trading (fail)

FAQ

Q

Which plan should I use for EA trading?

If your automated trading is low-frequency - roughly once a week - go with 1-Step Prime. Running the four plans through real data, it came out on top in all three test periods, even though it has the heaviest target-to-max-loss ratio (10% ÷ 6% = 1.67). The speed of passing in just one phase outweighs the tighter room. Minimum trading days are also the shortest at 2, and there are no news or weekend-holding restrictions after Funded. That said, the 6% max loss is tight, and failures run at a pace of about 4-5 per year. For the full breakdown, see Which Hola Prime plan should you buy?.

Q

Is the "2% per trade idea" rule a cap on floating loss?

No. It's judged by where the stop-loss sits, as a percentage of the account, at the moment you enter. The official trading rules page states: "What matters is only the risk taken, not the loss itself. If the SL is set within the 2% risk limit, any additional loss caused by a price gap is not counted in the risk calculation." In other words, if you place your SL around 1.9%, losing 3% to a gap is not a violation. Only trades with no SL set get terminated at a 2% floating loss. If you misread this and tighten to 1.25%, you end up cutting your lot size by roughly 30% more than necessary. Also, this rule only applies to Funded accounts - it does not apply during evaluation (the official pricing simulator shows Risk Per Trade Idea as Challenge Phase = NA).

Q

What's the leverage?

It's split by asset class (confirmed on the official trading rules page on September 19, 2026). 1-Step Prime and 2-Step Prime are FX 50:1 / metals (gold) 10:1 / indices 10:1 / commodities 2:1 / crypto 1:1. 2-Step Pro is double that (FX 100:1, metals and indices 20:1). The "50x" and "100x" shown in the plan table are FX figures, so the 10:1 cap is what actually bites when you trade gold or indices. On a $100K account, 1.8 lots of gold is roughly $790,000 in notional - 7.9x - leaving almost no room before the 10x cap.

Q

What are the withdrawal conditions and fees?

You choose the withdrawal method at purchase: On-demand (80% split, 40% consistency score, minimum payout 2% of initial balance) / Bi-weekly (80%, minimum 3 profitable days) / Monthly (95%, minimum 7 profitable days, fee is 20% higher). A "profitable day" means a day with at least 0.5% profit on the initial balance. On top of that, every payout method carries a 2.5% fee - bank transfer and Rise have a $25 minimum, crypto a $5 minimum. Even with the 95% split, your take-home is reduced further by this. Processing time is up to 24 business hours; the official headline feature is payouts within 1 hour.

Q

How many accounts can I hold?

Up to four $50K accounts, two $100K accounts, or one $200K account - whichever combination (across simulated, live-funded, and Direct accounts). The combined FX + futures ceiling is $800K. In addition, traders from certain countries face a $90K cap, in which case the standard limits above don't apply. Check the official list for which countries are affected.

Q

Can I use EAs (automated trading)?

Yes, except on Direct (no-evaluation) accounts. The official trading conditions FAQ says "traders may use EAs, algorithms, and indicators, but customizing the settings so that trades don't match another trader's is mandatory," and states that Risk & Compliance may, at their discretion, ask for the source code. If the same EA with the same settings is being used by multiple people, they may refuse to approve an account, rebalance it, or terminate related accounts. On Direct-model accounts, on the other hand, it states "the use of any form of EA is strictly prohibited" - those are manual-only. Also, using an EA requires attaching the "EA Trading" add-on at purchase (+10% on the base price) (confirmed on the official pricing simulator on September 27, 2026).

Q

What's the rule that trips up EA traders most?

The "mandatory stop-loss" and "2% per trade idea" rules on Funded accounts. The official rules page states: "A Stop Loss is mandatory on every trade. Trades without Stop Loss are considered to have infinite risk. If the floating (unrealized) loss on such a trade or trade idea exceeds 2% of the initial account balance at any time, the account will be terminated." - so an EA that doesn't place an SL is dangerous by itself. On top of that, positions re-entered on the same symbol and direction within 10 minutes, and split positions overlapping in time, are aggregated as "one trade idea," and it's a violation once their combined SL-based risk exceeds 2%. EAs that use split entries, averaging-down, or high-frequency re-entries need to be redesigned. Note that neither this risk rule nor the mandatory SL applies during the evaluation phase.

Q

What's the "10-minute rule"?

It's the standard for judging when positions on the same symbol and direction, re-opened within 10 minutes of each other, are treated as one trade idea and their risk is aggregated. For example, entering the same direction three times at 0.7% each on a $100K account adds up to 2.1%, breaching the 2% cap. Wait 10 minutes and it's treated as a separate idea. 2-Step Prime X, which used to be exempt from this rule, has disappeared from the official options as of September 27, 2026, so this rule now applies to every current evaluation plan once it goes Funded.

Q

How do I get the 95% profit split?

Choosing "Monthly" as your withdrawal cycle at purchase gets you 95%, but it raises the base price by 20%. The default is "Bi-Weekly 80%," which requires a minimum of 3 profitable days (1 profitable day = 0.5%+ profit on the initial balance). Monthly 95% requires a minimum of 7 profitable days. The third option, "On-demand 80%," lets you apply any time, but requires a 40% consistency score and a minimum payout of 2% of the initial balance. Direct accounts use a separate system: a choice between Bi-Weekly 80% or Bi-Weekly 90% (both with a 20% consistency rule).

Q

Is the fee refunded?

1-Step Prime, 2-Step Prime, and 2-Step Pro refund 100% of the fee once you pass. Per the official FAQ, it's added automatically as 25% on top of each of your first 4 payouts (with a $120 fee, that's $30 added to each of the first 4 payouts). You don't get it all back on the first payout, so you need to keep your Funded account alive through the 4th withdrawal. Direct is not listed as eligible for a refund (confirmed September 27, 2026).

Q

Is the 1-hour payout claim real?

An independent review by Deloitte (October 2025-March 2026) reports that 98.35% of withdrawal requests were processed within 1 hour, with zero withdrawals rejected during the period. The average processing time was 33 minutes. That said, the official rules page states, "an account review is conducted before every withdrawal as an eligibility check" and "once the review is complete, you can submit the withdrawal request, which is processed within 1 hour." In other words, the 1 hour counts from the point you submit the request - there's an account review step before that (listed as taking up to 24 business hours) that you should factor in. Withdrawal methods are bank transfer, crypto, and Rise.

Q

Which plan should I pick?

If you trade manually and want to touch news too, 2-Step Prime ($100K list price $569, 10% static max DD, news and weekends allowed both during evaluation and after Funded) is the straightforward choice. If you need 100x leverage, that's 2-Step Pro, but after Funded, trading within 5 minutes of news and weekend holding become soft breaches (profit voided / auto-closed). 1-Step Prime passes in a single step but has a tighter 6% max DD, so if you'd rather have room to breathe, go with the Two-Step plans. Direct's conditions - EA ban, 7% EOD trailing, 20% consistency rule - are harsh, and we don't actively recommend it.

Q

How is drawdown calculated?

Daily loss is "5% of the previous day's closing balance" (based on the initial balance only on day 1; 4% for $200K accounts). Max loss is "10% of the initial balance," static, and 8% for $200K accounts (1-Step Prime stays at 3% daily / 6% max even at $200K). The account is stopped the moment either balance or equity touches the line, so floating losses count too. Only Direct accounts use a different method: a 7% max EOD (end-of-day close) trailing DD.

Q

Can I use it from Japan? Is there Japanese support?

Yes. Restricted countries include Afghanistan, Belarus, Burundi, China, Cuba, Congo, Sudan, Sri Lanka, North Korea, and Yemen, among others - Japan isn't on the list (they claim support for 175+ countries). The site can be switched to a Japanese display and there's a Japanese blog, but the rules pages still mix in untranslated English. We haven't been able to confirm whether support responds in Japanese, so plan on communicating in English for anything that requires interpreting the rules.

Q

What's the corporate structure? Is it regulated?

The parent company is Hola Prime Limited in Hong Kong, with entities also in Cyprus (HE 454359) and Mauritius (220248); DXtrade and Match-Trader are said to be provided via GT Tech LLC in Florida, US. The Mauritius entity holds an FSC Investment Dealer license, but that's on the broker side (Hola Prime Markets) - the prop evaluation service itself isn't regulated. Launched August 2024, so it has about 2 years of track record.

Q

Are there any coupons?

The official site has a standing WELCOME20 (20% off) coupon, and we confirmed it was reflected in prices as of September 10, 2026. However, the discount doesn't apply to $2K or $200K accounts - the listed price is the price you're charged. Combined with the +20% base price for choosing the 95% monthly split, always double-check the final amount at checkout.
