Pros and cons
+Pros
- ✓JPY-denominated accounts are available - a ¥20M 2-Phase account is ¥95,000 (0.475% of the account)
- ✓2-Phase has a wide margin (8%→6% target, 5% daily, 10% static max loss), and the challenge fee is refunded on your 2nd payout
- ✓Full Japanese-language support
- ✓You can request a payout every 7 days, paid within 1 business day via bank transfer, crypto (ETH/USDC), or Revolut
- ✓PAYG lets you pay only for Phase 1 up front and pay the rest as you pass each phase (the total is the same as 2-Phase)
-Cons
- ✗A newer firm with a limited track record
- ✗The profit split on 1-Phase and Instant is a low 50%
- ✗1-Phase's 8% max loss trails your highest balance, and taking a payout lowers that highest balance by the payout amount
- ✗Payouts are capped at $10,000 per person per month (on 2-Phase NEO, the cap rises 1.2x each time you hit it)
- ✗Each phase and each payout requires 3 trading days and 10+ closed trades
- ✗Martingale (increasing lot size after a loss) is explicitly banned
- ✗Payouts go through an OREF Rule 1 review (position-size consistency/QC) - if even one trade's notional value exceeds MIN(median × 2.5, Q3 + 1.5 × IQR), the payout is held (this isn't a violation and no profit is forfeited)

FAQ
Can I change my strategy mid-challenge or after passing?
There's no rule banning strategy changes outright, but payouts go through an OREF Rule 1 review (consistency check). Rule 1A is about position size: it lists the notional value (lot × contract size × price) of every position in the payout period, and if even one trade exceeds MIN(median × 2.5, Q3 + 1.5 × IQR), the payout is held. Rule 1B requires 10+ closed trades over 3+ trading days; Rule 1C requires (2nd-place profit + 3rd-place profit) ÷ 1st-place profit ≥ 0.90. Missing Rule 1 isn't a violation and doesn't forfeit profit, but it does mean waiting for the next review. Changing your method - which changes your lot sizes or symbols - makes Rule 1A easier to trip, and our site owner breaks down the actual numbers from a real held-payout email in /en/articles/funded7-oref-rule1-position-sizing-payout-delayed-2026.
What is the OREF payout review?
OREF is Funded7's 2026 payout review framework, built on four rules: Rule 1 (consistency - size, activity, and profit quality), Rule 2 (position risk - a tiered 3%/2%/1% of the account, with ATR(14) × 1.96 used to estimate risk if there's no stop-loss), Rule 3 (execution - flagged if 15-second-or-faster closes exceed 2% of trades, or 30-second-or-faster closes exceed 3%), and Rule 4 (banned strategies). Rule 2/3 only voids the profit on the flagged trade (losses stand); Rule 1 only holds the payout. The review email discloses the median, Q3, IQR, the cap, and even the flagged position IDs. See /en/articles/funded7-oref-rule1-position-sizing-payout-delayed-2026 for details.
How many accounts can I hold at once?
The standard active cap is $1,000,000 total. Combining identical-configuration accounts can lower that to $400,000 in some cases, and PAYG accounts don't count against this cap. Since the applicable cap depends on your setup, check with support before planning around multiple accounts.
What's the difference between the plans?
2-Phase is a two-stage evaluation (8%→6% target, 5% daily, 10% max loss) with an 80% split, and the challenge fee is refunded on your 2nd payout. 2-Phase NEO has the same rules, but its monthly payout cap rises 1.2x each time you hit it. 1-Phase is a single-stage evaluation (10% target, 4% daily, an 8% max loss that trails your balance) with a 50% split, and Instant is instantly funded with no evaluation (50% split). PAYG is a 2-Phase account you pay for in installments (confirmed with the firm on September 27, 2026). See Funded7's expected value for a year-long simulation run under the same assumptions.
What's the difference between the USD and JPY accounts?
The account sizes and pricing structure differ. As of a checkout check on September 27, 2026, both only offered MT5 as the platform. USD accounts run $15K-$500K on 2-Phase, $15K-$200K on 1-Phase, and $5K-$75K on Instant.
What is 2-Phase NEO?
It's a plan with the same rules as regular 2-Phase (8%/6% target, 10% max loss, 5% daily), except the monthly payout cap (normally $10,000 per person) rises 1.2x each time you hit it. It's built for traders who want to keep earning big month after month.
Are there coupons?
As of September 27, 2026, the official site shows `SEP25` (25% off every plan plus a 10% profit-split add-on). Our site's exclusive coupon with Funded7, "HP50," ended on August 31, 2026.
Is the challenge fee refunded?
On 2-Phase, once you pass and become eligible for payouts, the challenge fee is refunded along with your 2nd payout (at the earliest, 2 weeks after your 1st). If you haven't placed a single trade within 7 days of purchase, you can also request a refund of the purchase itself.
When and how much can I withdraw?
You can request a payout every 7 days, counted from your last request or from account opening. You need at least $100 to receive - that's $125+ profit at an 80% split, or $200+ at 50%. Payouts are capped at $10,000 per person per month. Requesting a payout auto-closes any open positions.
