⚠️High Stakes fees and terms were revised on September 14, 2026

Only $50K and $100K got cheaper ($100K Classic $545 → $455), but those two sizes alone also had max loss cut from 10% to 8% and daily loss from 5% to 4%, plus new payout caps ($3,000/$4,000) and minimum profits ($300/$500). The full fee refund has also been split into "30% Hub credit + 70% cash." The max loss figures also disagree across four places on the official site, so check the real numbers under checkout's "show details" before you buy. Details of the revision

-Cons

  • ✗No Japanese-language support on the official site (the main site and FAQ are in English)
  • ✗$50K/$100K have a tight envelope: 8% max loss, 4% daily loss (changed September 2026)

FAQ

Q

What is the Summer Plan?

A limited-time budget plan (as of September 30, 2026, with no end date listed). The $100K 2-Step starts at $149, $200K from $249, and the 1-Step $100K is $249. Max loss 10% (6% on 1-Step) and 3% daily; funded accounts have a 50% consistency rule and a $2,000 payout cap ($3,000 on $200K). In our simulation, the zero-edge loss is about a quarter of regular High Stakes, but the payout cap means skilled traders fall far behind the regular plan.

Q

Is there a bonus for buying through prop-memo.com?

Buy through the affiliate link and use the coupon JZWLR (5% off), and you'll get unlimited use of Hosono P's semi-discretionary EA "ELDRA" for free (see the note.com introduction article for how to claim it). The5ers lists "using an EA whose source code you don't own" as a prohibited practice, but since ELDRA makes its own entry decisions and you set its parameters yourself as a semi-discretionary EA, I've confirmed with The5ers' Japan representative that it's fine to use it on a The5ers account.

Q

What's the most important thing to avoid getting banned?

Not using copy tools, and not opening multiple positions at the same time. The official prohibited-practices list (updated July 28, 2026) explicitly names "Bulk trading" (opening multiple trades at once, whether manually or with automated tools) and "Trade coordination or copy trading" (coordinating with other traders or other accounts, or copying). Violating either terminates the relationship with no refund and no profit, plus a permanent ban. These are the two most common reasons traders lose their accounts in the prop world, and repeating the behavior after a warning gets you removed immediately. Even affiliates promoting the firm have been banned for using copy tools to open the same positions on multiple accounts at once after a warning.

Q

Has the yellow card been lifted?

Yes. This site gave The5ers a yellow card in July 2026, but since two payouts from the site owner's own $100K High Stakes funded account both completed without an interview, I lifted it on September 25, 2026. That said, the clause requiring you to book and complete an interview within 5 business days if asked — or have any pending payout denied and all accounts revoked — is still in the September 23, 2026 terms of service. While a payout is pending, check your email (including spam) every day. See this article for the background.

Q

Can I change strategy mid-challenge or after passing?

There's no restriction on changing your method itself, as long as you stay within the profit target. However, if you hold multiple accounts at the same time, you're required to use a different trading method on each one. Changing method on a single account is fine, but if the change makes it match the method on another one of your accounts, that could breach the requirement.

Q

What's The5ers' expected value? Which plan is the best deal?

Running a one-year Monte Carlo with daily losses stopped at 2.5% and costs at 5% of risk, at 1% per trade and a 55% win rate Pro Growth ($100K equivalent) came out to +$20,602, High Stakes Classic +$19,793, and New +$17,597. The gap is small and skill matters far more. Classic beat New at every level except zero edge at 0.5% per trade. See The5ers' expected value for details.

Q

How does the High Stakes fee refund work?

Here's what I confirmed in the official FAQ (Payout Policy and Hub Credit, updated September 14) on September 27, 2026. Passing Step 1 gets you 10% of the fee as Hub credit, and passing Step 2 gets you 20% (usable only to buy a new challenge, non-withdrawable). Once you reach a funded account, the remaining 70% is added to the account balance and you receive it on your first payout. The conditions are a minimum profit of $150 and the account being active for at least 14 days. The 70% only applies to the portion paid via an external payment method — anything paid with Hub credit doesn't count. Note that the plan page's table instead shows flat Step-1 rewards of $2.5K $2 / $5K $5 / $10K $10 / $25K $15 / $50K $25 / $100K $40, which doesn't match the FAQ's "10%" (confirmed September 27, 2026).

Q

Do payouts actually get paid? What about fees and turnaround time?

The site owner has made two payouts from a $100K High Stakes funded account. The first was requested on September 8, 2026 and completed September 9 ($1,499 requested, $1,230.86 received via USDT TRC20); the second completed September 24 ($3,545.67 received in full via Rise). Neither required an interview or extra documents. Per the official FAQ (updated August 24, 2026): review takes 24–48 business hours plus up to 3 business days to process, the first payout is available 14 days after account activation and every 2 weeks after the previous approval thereafter, with a $150 minimum profit. Payout methods: Rise (3.5% fee, requires Rise-side KYC including proof of address), crypto (3.5%, capped at $1,500 per request, USDT TRC20/USDC ERC20/ETH/LTC), bank transfer (3.5% plus bank fees), and Hub credit (0% fee, non-withdrawable). Before requesting, check the hub's trade history for blank settlement data and ask support to re-sync if you find any (took 3 minutes in the owner's case). See the payout report for details. Re-checking the official FAQ (updated September 14) on September 27, 2026, the current rules are: request every 14 days on a funded account, $150 minimum profit after the split, crypto capped at $1,500 per request, and methods of Rise, bank transfer, or crypto. Also, the September 14, 2026 revision added a per-cycle payout cap ($3,000/$4,000) and a minimum profit ($300/$500) for $50K/$100K funded accounts. Working backward, the $100K cap of $4,000 at an 80% split equals about $5,000 in total profit, so anything above that can't be withdrawn in that cycle. On the plus side, it's now explicit that you can request a payout once you hit 3 profitable days, regardless of the 10% growth target — an easing of the request conditions.

Q

How many accounts can I hold at once?

The limit for High Stakes depends on the variant. Classic allows 4 accounts: "$2.5K×1 + $5K×1 + ($10K or $25K)×1 + ($50K or $100K)×1", while New allows more small accounts: "$2.5K×3 + $5K×3 + $10K×3 + $25K×1 + ($50K or $100K)×1" (per the official plan page as of September 15, 2026). Either can be combined with 3 Bootcamp accounts and 4 Instant Funding accounts. The Growth line is described inconsistently in the official materials: the Growth plan page says "evaluation accounts total up to $40,000 (e.g. $20K×1 + $10K×1 + $5K×2)", while the Pro Growth FAQ (updated September 15, 2026) says "one account per size, up to 4 accounts ($5K, $10K, $20K, $50K)" (confirmed September 27, 2026). More importantly, the official rules require you to use a different trading method on each account. Running the same EA or the same strategy across multiple accounts breaches the terms, so if you want to run one strategy across multiple accounts, look at another firm.

Q

What does "unlimited evaluation period" mean?

There's no time limit for reaching the profit target. You can take the challenge at your own pace.

Q

What's the Bootcamp fee structure?

$20K is $22 upfront + $50 on passing = $72 total, $100K is $95 + $205 = $300, and $250K is $225 + $350 = $575. The balance increases in stages — for $20K, that's $5,000 → $10,000 → $15,000 → funded $20,000. The target is 6% at each step, 5% at the funded stage; max loss is 5% during evaluation and 4% funded; the 3% daily pause only applies at the funded stage. The September 2026 revision added a $2/$5/$10 Hub credit for passing Step 1.

Q

What's the difference between Pro Growth and Hyper Growth?

Both share a 10% target, 6% max loss, 3% daily loss, 1:30 leverage, and no time limit, but the price differs a lot. Pro Growth is $5K $52 / $10K $98 / $20K $189 / $50K $329, while Hyper Growth is $5K $260 / $10K $450 / $20K $850 — 4 to 5 times more at the same size. Three things differ: (1) Hyper Growth doubles the account balance each time you hit the target, while Pro Growth uses a normal scaling table in 10% steps. (2) The 3% daily loss is handled differently — breaching it fails the account on Pro Growth, but just triggers a "Daily Pause" (that day's trading stops) on Hyper Growth. (3) Pro Growth requires a minimum of 3 profitable days and offers a $50K size (Hyper Growth caps out at $20K with no minimum trading days). Both start the split at 75%, rising to 80% at $350K and up to 100% from $400K. Pro Growth's 3% daily loss is measured from "the higher of that day's starting balance or equity" (MT5 server time). Pro Growth allows one account per size. The plan page's funded-stage column lists bonuses from "From $15" ($5K) to "From $50" ($20K/$50K). Hyper Growth's fee is not refunded. Both confirmed via the official plan page and FAQ on September 27, 2026.

Q

When do I get to 100% profit split?

It rises in stages based on continued performance, eventually reaching a 100% profit split.

Q

Should I choose High Stakes Classic (8%) or New (10%)?

The two differ in Phase 1 target and price: as of September 15, 2026, $100K is Classic = 8% / $455 and New = 10% / $405. Since $50K/$100K both now share an 8% max loss and 4% daily loss, the only real decision points are whether Phase 1's target is 8% or 10% and the $50 price gap. The target-to-envelope ratio for Phase 1 is 1.00 for Classic versus 1.25 for New, so Classic is the more sensible choice for a first attempt. See High Stakes 8% vs 10% and the September 2026 price and rules revision for details.

Q

What changed in the September 2026 revision?

The official FAQ was updated on September 14, 2026, changing four things. (1) Only $50K and $100K got cheaper ($100K Classic $545 → $455, New $491 → $405); $2.5K–$25K stayed the same. (2) Only those discounted $50K/$100K sizes had their max loss cut from 10% to 8% and daily loss from 5% to 4%. Measured per $1,000 of loss allowance, that's effectively a price increase. (3) A per-cycle payout cap ($3,000/$4,000) and minimum profit ($300/$500) were added for $50K/$100K funded accounts. (4) The full fee refund was split into "10% Hub credit on passing Step 1 + 20% on passing Step 2, plus 70% in cash at the funded stage." On the upside, you can now request a payout once you hit 3 profitable days without waiting to reach the 10% growth target, the inactivity period before a funded account lapses was extended to 60 days, and TradingView and cTrader were added as platforms. See this article for the full breakdown.

Q

Can I withdraw Hub credit?

No. The official terms explicitly state that "hub credits are non-withdrawable" — the only use for them is buying a new challenge at checkout. They also state that "the 70% cash refund only applies to the portion paid with external funds," so if you use Hub credit toward your next challenge, that amount reduces the base for the next 70% cash refund. The more credit you use, the smaller the cash-back ratio gets, so reading this as an "effectively full refund" is wrong.

Q

Why does the official site show different max-loss numbers in different places?

As of the September 27, 2026 re-check, the FAQ "What is the drawdown rule for High Stakes?" (updated September 15) still says 10% max loss / 5% daily loss, which contradicts the plan page's table (8% / 4% for $50K/$100K). As of September 15, 2026, the $100K Classic max loss figure disagreed in all four places checked: the plan page's table says 8% max loss / 4% daily loss, the Risk Management section on the same page says 5% daily loss, the FAQ (updated September 14) says 10% / 5%, and checkout's "show details" says evaluation $10,000 (10%) / funded $8,000 (8%) with 5% daily loss. $50K and $100K New agree at 8%/4% between the plan page and checkout — only $100K Classic disagrees. Before buying, select your size and the Classic toggle at checkout on hub.the5ers.com and check "show details" directly for the max loss, daily loss, payout cap, and payout target. Note that switching sizes automatically flips the Classic toggle back to New.
