E8 Markets

イーエイト・マーケッツ

A prop firm founded in the US in 2021 (formerly E8 Funding). Rebranded to "SimFi™" in 2026, with phase names changed to Challenge / Performance. The Forex lineup is three plans — E8 One (choice of DD and split), E8 Pro (static DD, daily withdrawals), and E8 Signature (EOD Dynamic DD) — and the official site states that "all current products are single-phase." A separate site offers futures (E8 Zero) and Hyperliquid-linked perpetual futures. Re-measured in full on September 13, 2026, and re-confirmed on the pricing screen (prices for every size) and help center on September 27. No refund on the fee.

E8 One (1-Step, configurable)

1-step
List price $48 / $88 / $188 / $288 / $488 / $798 / $1,598 / $1,998 (6% DD, 80% split configuration). Dynamic DD (follows the highest "confirmed" balance, then locks permanently at the initial balance). Choosing a DD of 4/6/8/10/14% and a split of 80/90/100% also changes the price ($1,090 for $100K at 14% DD / 100% split). During Performance, a 40% consistency rule and a ban on trading within 5 minutes of news apply. Minimum withdrawal requires your net take to exceed 50% of the daily loss limit ($2,001 on $100K at 4% daily). The help article's "preset" lists a 6% target / 4% max / 3% daily, but that conflicts with the pricing screen's default (9% target / 6% max / 4% daily) — we use the pricing screen (confirmed September 27, 2026)

E8 Pro (1-Step, static DD)

1-step
List price $32 / $68 / $148 / $228 / $488 / $998 / $2,098 / $2,598 (8% DD, 80% split configuration). You can choose a DD of 6/8/10%, with the target matching it and the daily limit fixed at 2.5% ($468 for 6% DD, $539 for 10% DD, $586 for 100% split, all on $100K). It's a static DD based on the initial balance that doesn't move — except that claiming your first withdrawal permanently moves it to the initial balance. No consistency rule, no minimum trading days, no news restrictions, and withdrawals are allowed daily (minimum profit is 1% of the initial balance). However, there's a 2% daily profit cap, with the excess removed the next day, and reaching the 8% target takes at least 4 trading days

E8 Signature (1-Step, EOD)

1-step
List price $120 / $160 / $280 / $450. Max DD is EOD Dynamic (updates only from the end-of-day balance, unaffected by intraday moves; locks once it reaches the initial balance). 4% on $25K/$50K, 3% on $100K/$150K. No daily limit during evaluation; during Performance, a 35% consistency rule and a 2% daily pause (not a fail) apply. Every withdrawal must leave an amount equal to the EOD DD in the account, there's a per-withdrawal cap, and from the 2nd withdrawal on you need 5 days with 0.3%+ profit, with a $100 minimum net take. Everything closes at 23:00 (server time), so overnight positions aren't allowed (confirmed September 27, 2026)

Pros and cons

+Pros

  • ✓Every plan is single-phase. Two-stage evaluation has been dropped; you can pass in as little as 1 day
  • ✓E8 One lets you choose DD (4/6/8/10/14%) and profit split (80/90/100%). Price varies with the configuration
  • ✓E8 Pro has no consistency rule, no minimum trading days, and daily withdrawals. It suits EA trading best
  • ✓MT5 was added, bringing the total to 5 platforms alongside cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker and the in-house E8 Terminal
  • ✓Wide market coverage: Forex, crypto, futures, and Hyperliquid perpetual futures (24/7)
  • ✓No activation fee. There's also a free $0 trial account
  • ✓Off-the-shelf EAs are allowed (but the same EA can't be used by multiple users)

-Cons

  • ✗Trustpilot rating is suspended (shows "guideline violation" and "we removed fake reviews"; score hidden, 3,298 reviews)
  • ✗The terms include a discretionary clause letting E8 cap risk per trade idea at 1% if it detects prohibited behavior. This effective restriction can be imposed after purchase, and it's written into the rules
  • ✗No refund on the fee. The official policy states that there is currently no mechanism to refund the fee on your first withdrawal
  • ✗E8 Pro's static DD is only static until your first withdrawal. The moment you claim a payout, the fail line moves permanently to the initial balance, and only 50% of the profit you leave in the account becomes your cushion
  • ✗On E8 Pro, if a day's profit exceeds 2% of the initial balance, the excess is removed from the account between 0:00 and 1:00 the next day. That's $2,000 a day on a $100K account
  • ✗E8 Signature has a withdrawal cap and a buffer. Every withdrawal must leave an amount equal to the EOD DD in the account (that's $3,000 on a $100K account). The per-withdrawal cap on $100K is $2,250 for the 1st-2nd, $3,250 for the 3rd-4th, and $4,250 from the 5th onward. From the 2nd withdrawal on, you need 5 days with 0.3%+ profit
  • ✗E8 One's minimum withdrawal is high. Your net take must exceed 50% of the daily loss limit — that's a net $2,001 on a $100K account at the default 6% DD configuration (a gross $2,501 at an 80% split)
  • ✗E8 Signature doesn't allow overnight positions (everything closes at 23:00 server time)
  • ✗No Japanese support. The help center is not available in Japanese either
  • ✗MT4 is not supported. US residents also can't use MT5 or cTrader
  • ✗EAs can't be used on futures (E8 Zero, E8 Signature Futures)
  • ✗Officially states it is unregulated. The terms include mandatory arbitration and a class-action waiver

FAQ

Q

Has the 2-step model been discontinued?

Yes. The help center states outright that "all current products are single-phase." E8 One used to be a two-stage evaluation, but now it's single-phase: pass the Challenge and you move straight to Performance. You can pass in as little as 1 day.

Q

How do E8 One, E8 Pro and E8 Signature differ?

All three have a different kind of drawdown. E8 One uses Dynamic DD — it rises with your highest "confirmed" balance and permanently locks once it reaches the initial balance. E8 Pro's DD is static, never moving from the initial balance. E8 Signature uses EOD Dynamic DD, which only updates from the end-of-day close, so intraday moves don't shift the line. Pricing structure differs too — only E8 One lets you choose the DD and split. If you're running an EA, E8 Pro is the most straightforward, with no consistency rule and no minimum trading days.

Q

What platforms are supported?

Five: MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker, and the in-house E8 Terminal. MT5, previously unsupported, has been added. MT4 remains unsupported. Note that US residents can't use MT5 or cTrader — only TradeLocker and Match-Trader. If the account price is under $100, using cTrader costs an extra $10. Futures run on a separate site with NinjaTrader and Tradovate.

Q

Is there a consistency rule?

Not during the Challenge (evaluation) stage. It only kicks in during Performance (funded) — 40% on E8 One, 35% on E8 Signature. E8 Pro has no consistency rule at all. In other words, this is a rule you're free of during evaluation but that catches you at the payout stage, and traders often only notice it after passing — so check it beforehand.

Q

Is the daily drawdown based on balance or equity?

It's calculated from that day's opening balance (per E8 One's official explanation). E8 One's daily DD is roughly 0.66x the max DD, applies during both Challenge and Performance, and breaching it fails you. E8 Pro's daily limit is 2.5% of the initial balance. E8 Signature has no daily limit during Challenge, and only gets a "2% Daily Pause" during Performance. That's not a fail — once floating or realized loss hits 2%, trading for that day stops and resets the next day.

Q

Are there news trading restrictions?

Only E8 One during Performance restricts the 5 minutes before and after high-impact news. It used to be 2 minutes and was extended to 5. E8 Signature and E8 Pro have no news restrictions.

Q

How do withdrawals work?

On-demand, with no fixed cycle. E8 Pro can be claimed daily. E8 One and E8 Signature can typically be claimed about 3 days after Performance begins at the earliest. The minimum withdrawal amount differs by plan: E8 One requires your net take to exceed 50% of the daily loss limit (on the default 6% DD configuration, that's daily $4,000 on $100K, so a net $2,001, or a gross $2,501+ at an 80% split); E8 Signature requires a net $100 (a gross $125+ claim at an 80% split). Since withdrawing from E8 One doesn't lower the Dynamic DD line, the official advice is to leave 2–3% of your profit in rather than withdrawing it all. E8 Pro works differently: the minimum profit is 1% of the initial balance ($1,000 on $100K), and you can claim only 50% of the amount above the initial balance — the remaining 50% stays in the account as a buffer (not forfeited — it carries over to the next cycle). And because the first claim permanently moves the static-DD line to the initial balance, that leftover 50% becomes your only cushion going forward. Payments run through WorkMarket, Rise, and Aeropay (US only) — direct crypto withdrawals aren't available. E8's own stats show a median of 11 hours from claim to approval and 24 hours to arrival, though it can take up to 5 business days.

Q

What is E8 Pro's "2% daily profit cap"?

The balance you can grow in one day is capped at 2% of the initial balance, and anything above that is automatically removed from the account between 0:00 and 1:00 server time the next day. That's $2,000 a day on a $100K account. The official help center gives a concrete example: opening at $102,000 and closing at $105,500 means the $1,500 above the $104,000 cap line gets removed at rollover. This applies during both Challenge and Performance, and reaching the 8% target takes at least 4 trading days. Splitting a big winning position across multiple closes or closing it across days to dodge the cap is banned — it can be treated as a single trade idea and rolled up into one day. In practice, this means stopping new entries for the day once that day's profit gets within your expected take-profit range of the 2% line.

Q

Do I get the fee back?

No. The official refund policy states outright that there is currently no mechanism to refund the fee on your first withdrawal. A refund only applies if you haven't traded and it's within 30 days of purchase, and anything paid in crypto is never refundable. Filing a chargeback gets your account permanently suspended.

Q

What is E8 Signature's withdrawal cap?

This is unique to E8 Signature: a permanent "buffer" that keeps an amount equal to the EOD DD in the account ($3,000 on $100K), plus a per-withdrawal cap. On a $100K account, that cap is $2,250 for the 1st-2nd withdrawal, $3,250 for the 3rd-4th, and $4,250 from the 5th on. From the 2nd withdrawal on, you also need 5 days with 0.3%+ profit since your last withdrawal. Even a big win can't be pulled out all at once, so if fast cash turnover matters to you, choose E8 Pro or E8 One instead.

Q

What's the reputation like?

As of September 13, 2026, the Trustpilot rating is suspended. There's a warning that the rating can't be shown due to a guideline violation, plus a notice that many fake reviews about this business have been removed — the score itself is hidden (review count: 3,298). E8 itself has dropped the Trustpilot mention from its own "Is E8 legit?" article and now points instead to PropFirmMatch, Discord, and PayoutJunction. Also keep in mind that the terms include a discretionary clause letting E8 cap risk to 1% per trade idea if it detects prohibited behavior — an effective restriction that can be applied after you've already bought in, and it's written into the rules.

Q

Can I use it from Japan?

Yes. Japan is not on the list of restricted countries. There's no Japanese site or Japanese support, though. As of September 2026, Taiwan, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Cambodia, Laos and Bangladesh can't use E8 One, and India, Vietnam, Kenya and Indonesia are capped at $200K on E8 One. Nationality is determined from your KYC documents.

Q

How many accounts can I hold?

You can run up to $4,850,000 combined across Performance accounts. But this cap is totaled per household and per shared IP address, so if a family shares accounts or a VPS, make sure the combined total doesn't exceed the cap.

Q

What's the difference from E8 Funding?

It rebranded from E8 Funding to E8 Markets in 2024, then was rebuilt into the "SimFi™" framework in 2026, with phase names changing to Challenge / Performance. The corporate structure changed too: the site is run by Digital Renaissance LLC (Puerto Rico), TradeLocker, cTrader and Match-Trader are run by E8 Funding LLC (Dallas, Texas), and MT5 is run by E8 Markets Ltd (St. Lucia), established in 2025.
