FundedNext's official help article "Is EA allowed in FundedNext?" was revised on September 9, 2026. Accounts of $50,000 and above โ both challenge and Funded accounts โ must now trade fully manually; EAs, bots, and automation tools are banned. EAs can only be used on MT4/MT5 accounts of $25K or less (with a separate usage fee). cTrader and Match-Trader remain fully banned as before. The effective date and whether it applies to existing accounts are not stated. What people running EAs on $100K accounts should do now, plus a comparison for switching to FTMO, Funding Pips, Fintokei, or Funded7.
![Propr vs Hypernova: Comparing Two Hyperliquid-Based Onchain Props. Hypernova's Instant Payouts and Public Reserves Are Still Invite-Only [September 2026]](/og/en/propr-vs-hypernova-hyperliquid-prop-firms-2026.png)
Comparing two crypto prop firms that use Hyperliquid's prices. Hypernova has raised $3M (led by Lemniscap), offers a 1-step model across 4 tiers, an 80% split, and pays out from an on-chain reserve on Arbitrum in an average of 6 seconds, with $749K paid out to date. But as of September 2026 it's still a Discord-invite closed beta, has 0 Trustpilot reviews, its reserve has shrunk from $1M to $630K, and it has no third-party audit. We break down the differences with the publicly launched, TGE-completed Propr on price, drawdown, payouts, KYC, and risk.
![What Percentage of Prop Phase 1 Would a Coin Toss Pass? The Exact-Solution Answer Comes Out Above 50% [Analysis]](/og/en/coin-toss-phase1-pass-rate-2026.png)
An exact calculation of the Phase 1 pass rate for a prop challenge using nothing but a ยฑยฅ200,000 coin toss. With zero fees, an 8% target / 10% max DD setup passes 55.6% of the time, and FTMO comes out at exactly 50.0%. With a 5% fee it drops to 43.2%, and it sinks into the 8% range for 1-step plans with a 3% daily DD. Compared with real-world pass rates of 5-14%, the average trader is losing to a coin toss.
![The Consistency Rule Specifically Targets Trend-Following: What 10,000 Runs on a Real EA Showed [Opinion]](/og/en/consistency-rule-simulation-2026.png)
We connected a real EA to Fintokei's server and compared over-trading, trend-following, and one-sided betting with risk sized equally. Without a consistency rule, trend-following wins outright (70.4%), but the more profit concentrates in big wins, the harder it gets cut down โ the purest trend-following setup dropped to a 0.0% pass rate at a 20% threshold. This gives a structural explanation for the observation that "winners cluster at firms with loose consistency rules."
![Does Averaging Down Beat the Consistency Rule? What a Real EA Backtest and a Rulebook Review Actually Show [Opinion]](/og/en/nanpin-consistency-rule-2026.png)
Averaging down (nanpin/DCA) turned out to be genuinely immune to the consistency rule. But at a 13.2% pass rate, it's useless on its own. Adding a stop-loss raises that to 41.2% while keeping the immunity โ but it still falls short of trend-following's 52.9%. Checking the actual rulebooks, what's banned isn't averaging down itself โ it's doubling your lot size.

A full plan comparison of Funded7, founded in 2025. Covers the industry's tightest 0.1-pip spreads, JPY-denominated accounts, the real payout flow and how long it takes, and โ often overlooked โ a deep dive into the discretionary clauses in the terms of service (Provisions 1, 8, 14, and 16).

Automated trading is possible even on TradeLocker-based prop firms that don't support MT4/MT5. Using the official Python API (the tradelocker package) plus a serverless Cloud Run Job setup, we're running a bot in live production on a SuperFunded account. Full disclosure of the tech stack, including idempotent design, double-order protection, and running on GCP's free tier.

ATFX-owned prop firm ATFunded announced a pause of operations on June 8, 2026. Active accounts get a full refund of the purchase fee, funded accounts get payouts processed as normal, and MT5 was switched to close-only mode. Here's what account holders should do now, the timeline leading up to the pause, the lesson that 'broker-backed doesn't mean safe,' and alternative firms.
![What's FundedElite's Reputation Really Like? 3 Patterns Behind Payout-Denial Complaints, and What the Good Reviews Actually Show [2026 Update]](/og/en/fundedelite-reputation-2026.png)
We examine FundedElite's reputation from both the positive and negative sides. In July 2026, Trustpilot suspended its rating for policy violations (fake review removal) โ it stood at 4.4/715 reviews beforehand. Most payout reports look genuine, but there are three recurring payout-trouble patterns: IP-sharing flags, profit-split cuts after a risk interview, and penalties for sub-3-minute scalping. Also covers the real state of Japanese-language support, the risk of confusing it with the unrelated firm Funded Elite Traders, and what to check before signing up.
